It’s alright.

Our location brought in a lot of foot traffic, so it can be a little stressful from time to time. The people that work there are great and really utilize teamwork, which made each shift run smoothly. On the down side, everyone working there is fed up with management.. the GM and AGM caused a lot of problems, would talk badly about customers/employees/people they were interviewing, took their frustrations out on the crew, and never pulled their weight during each shift. It was annoying and they both are very unprofessional. Tips are small and were split amongst everyone at the end of each shift, but the AGM takes half of the tips, even though they make way more on a salary based income. This also annoyed everyone since we got paid hourly and really needed the money for bills. Overall, the pay was okay.. it hardly paid the bills though, but scheduling is flexible.

Great workplace with great people. Pay is pretty low and u get paid every two weeks. Customers are nice but some are very rude. Oh and traffic is crazy in this area

Good but not great
|
At first I loved my job and quickly moved up ranks up to GM, the balance is horrendous, your vacations still consist of taking care of things. Your days off consist of doing your schedule and getting training plans together because finding time in store is difficult. They give you admin time to schedule daily but that counts into your "non service" hours for the day and you end up being a body on the floor , training is the same battle finding time to train is difficult without goingover the "labor model" and being repremanded for not meeting your labor goal for the week. Overall the job is exhausting and thankless. My advice : start out , get promoted to captain and stay there. The managment pay is not worth the stress when all other companies are paying so much more for the same position

It was a fun place to work when we had the manager that hired me there but the current manager i dont know if he still there. But when i was there he was lazy, didnt care about my personal health, didnt really care about his employees, there are other locations that are way better than the copperfield.

Fun for about the first week
|
I was excited at the beginning, but as I got to learn about the chain of command and the lack there of, my opinion changed. Everyone working there was unhappy, and we were understaffed and unprepared for at least half of the shifts. My co workers were fun and friendly, but that only goes so far...having free pizza is definitely a plus in my book though.
If they had a change in management, I would recommend this company for a transitional job to get you started in the food service field.

The managers are awful, the turnover rate is extreme, they won’t promote longtime employees but will promote new people in a few short months
|
the general manager is never sober, the assistant general manager couldn’t care less most of the time, and they mess up longtime employees constantly. they won’t stop hiring new people so hours keep getting cut and now they’re talking about demoting people. don’t waste your time.

Best job I've ever had!

I have worked at MOD for over 2 years and I love my boss and employees. While it can get busy most times things are relaxed and everyone does their work. Management and scheduling is very organized and responsive, and people are willing to take shifts if they need to be covered. I love the work environment, I have always felt supported while working at MOD. There is also a great way to gain experience and get a pay raise with earning the title All-Star or Captain!

This is a job that I would recommend to most people, it can be pretty fast paced and stressful, there is a lot of work to be done and it can be tiring. On the flip side, the pay is good, the people are typically a lot of fun and overall a good experience.
