Lots of processes and lies. The company planned to shout their store without telling their staff. We all get redundant before lockdown (january) with relocation and compensation.

High turnover, about 30% per year

Good peer colleagues. Unfortunately they work for moleskine no more than 1,5 years, then they leave. The turnover is growing and its principle causes are the HR handling policies:
• The mobbing is a common habits: when changing role is not effective, the company pass to disciplinary actions.
• The smart working is allowed, but you have to give up your daily restaurant ticket.
• Overtime work is not payed.
• The high management is not suitable: there are some conflicts between the depts. and none thinks to the company robustness.
• etc etc

I really enjoyed working at Moleskine as a key holder. I would open and close the store. I was very happy that the jo culture promoted diversity and encouraged employees to step up in order to make sales to foreigners.

Ambiance très bonne entre les boutiques. Côté famille et convivialité appréciée.
Par contre, vendeurs qui devraient être assistants manageurs pour ce qui leur est demandé de faire.
Payé au smic. Pas d’avantages à part les réductions en boutique.

A Day At Moleskine

Since my very first day, I felt the management would be a problem. The young lady who is the active manager at this location is a very rude, disrespectful and judgemental (to me at least). My overall interview I thought went well. She seemed very nice, but during training she began to show who she really was. She called me sexist and talked to me in a demeaning and disrespectful way, which I explained to her was not appreciated. Me standing up for myself to her was a problem. I was so happy to be there and to be in an environment that I thought was stress free but I was wrong.

Easy and cool for a first job

The company is nice to work with and it’s a pretty laid back job. Learning the products aren’t difficult . Stores are small so it does get frustrating when you get a rush. Management is great but HR has terrible communication and they are also bad with paying employees correctly sometimes. Overall cool job and cool people !

Fun work place

This job taught me skills I didn't know I had in me. They work with your hours and the team is great to work with. A day at Moleskine is different from any other retail store I have worked with. Customers are very friendly and nice. I learned how to use an embossing machine. Overall this is job is great to start with.
