Enjoyed having long rant style conversations about marketing and strategies. Owner was easy too talk with about anything work or life. Enjoyed being able to take time off when needed. Stay focused on your end goal for the company and just in general for me personally online marketing is too much data for me. Flexible work schedule and manager – after a period of 6-months to a year you have the opportunity to work remotely part of the time. Employees are able to work in a variety of industries and with client personalities. Good experience as a stepping stone type position – many former employees move on to lucrative paying jobs within larger companies. There is not much in the way of training - you tend to learn on the job with a 'sink or swim' type attitude. No room for growth or increase in pay; no competitive pay based on market. Not enough positive encouragement or feedback. Heavy work load / work schedule – intense pressure to complete projects on time from manager and clients. Job has no security – hours can be cut or increased based on company growth. No benefits (no 401k, health insurance, paid time off). Provide more background and direction with strategy when handing off projects. Allocate funds towards aspects of the business that will grow the company (avoid client perks and paying some salary while others hourly).
