I believe adopting an agile framework would significantly better-organize work that needs to be done and set more realistic goals for employees. Many of my colleagues were expected by management to get huge amounts of work done with no formal/realistic estimate on how long that would actually take. This led to employees feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, and some leaving the organization. It just feels like high school. I had to do an event with the Marketing department. The woman leading the event didn't see that I signed up for a specific position, gave me a hard time time because SHE didn't see it, and then was totally petty about it and gave me a spot in the worst possible place that didn't make sense for my program. There are a ton of cliques here and it's probably a better place for you to work if you're black because you'd better fit with their cliques. Student to teacher ratio is very good--25-35/class Atmosphere positive Such Diversity and multi-cultural environment, I love! Excellent Department Chair and good communication even to part time. True everywhere, being an adjunct, part time-no benefits and about 1/3 the pay of full timers is the case.
