Wonderful place to work

I really enjoyed my time at myrecovery. It was the perfect place to work after finishing university. The full team were incredibly friendly and welcoming and I never felt like I couldn't ask a question. I received good training and had a manager who was very approachable and patient. Although I was only there a few months, it was a great experience and I really recommend the company to anyone who wants to work there!

Tom and Axel have a great way of making you feel truly apart of the company from the inception of working. The company has a great way of interacting with members of the team, and it trickles all the way down to how they handle their clients and patients. Top to bottom the company looks for satisfaction at all levels.

The only con is part of being a start-up and there is not as much certainty with time and uncertainty of working on client schedules; however, the communication from the team was prompt and informative about what the expectations were and how the timeline was shifting. Great experience

Perfect Internship opportunity for students/recent graduates

I did a 3-month internship in the Content Team. During my time at myrecovery I made a decision to pursue a career in web development, so here's my personal experience
- Perfect, if you are thinking about moving into tech sector but want to get experience first
- Opportunity to work learn about git and basic code
- Demands of the business are versatile so you may be involved in almost anything. For example, I learnt how to edit videos (with sound, music and subtitles!)
- You learn a lot about medical tech market while you're there
- If you go into coding after (eg bootcamp), you find your life much easier because you already know quite a lot
- London LIVING wage
- Location - next to the Heath
- I have received a lot of guidance for my career in dev
- Office food. Lots LOTS of hummus. Several types of milk. Everything is super healthy. Yas.

- Felt I came there a bit late (1.5 years after uni), would definitely have done straight after uni/summer holidays, so personally a con, might be a pro for many!
- Occasional inconsistency in the workflow

It’s been amazing to be part of the growth of a company which has already proven to have a such a significant impact on healthcare. The team is easy to work and communicate with, which is essential while working remote. Everyone has always been helpful with answering any questions or resolving any issues as soon as possible. The management team is really supportive, encouraging new ideas and project management, while also valuing work life balance. Because it’s a growing company, there are many project opportunities to be apart of. It’s been a valuable experience and opportunity to work with the myrecovery team and I continue to look forward to all the of exciting projects to come!

A positive learning experience with opportunities for progression

I worked on the content team at myrecovery for 6 months, before I left to continue further education. The team was welcoming, encouraging and considerate of any particular needs I had. I received comprehensive training and close subsequent supervision.
I had the opportunity to work with senior management, on a regular basis and as part of my projects, I had the opportunity to learn about the different parts of the business, from development to marketing.
The location of the office was fantastic, and the opportunities to socialise were plentiful. The workforce as a whole was well looked after, and that enabled us all to work well together.

I very occasionally had to work longer hours at short notice to deliver a product to a tight deadline.

Learnt a lot as an intern, and was given excellent support by the team members to allow me to settle into the job. In particular, got given mentorship from both co-founders. There was a good work-life balance. Focus was on the quality of the work rather than time spent in the office. Daily game of volleyball was definitely a good team bonding experience and refreshing.
