Employees are treated terribly, goals are not set or are moved so bad reviews are given and bonuses are not delivered to employees, but are shared amongst administrators. Not a nice place to work... turn over is extremely high.

My only regret about the MMRF is that they cannot hire me full-time at present. If given the opportunity, I could see myself embarking on a long tenure at the Foundation with a variety of great growth opportunities from which to choose. From Development to Events to Marketing and, of course, the clinical Consortium, MMRF is an innovative force in the drive to raise medical research funds to cure cancer. I was honored to be a volunteer and then a paid consultant.

Meaningful job experience and impact on constituents but poor management
|
While I enjoy the core work functions and responsibilities my job entails at the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation managing the Race for Research 5K fundraising program, the culture at the organization has led me to seek employment elsewhere. There is little to no support to the program I manage. I have received minimal accolades for the successes I achieved.
Most of my co-workers were superb and taught me much about fundraising, connecting with constituents and dealing with scant resources.
