Some work can be done remote. The job is interesting and varied. Most managers are very understanding when it comes to life balance issues, scheduling, etc. Great communication between departments in a fast paced tech environment. Unfortunately CS is often treated like second class citizens when it comes to company events, meetings, etc. Base pay is very low considering the amount of diverse knowledge required to effectively perform the day-to-day, and the continual learning required to stay on top of multi-platform app releases. This is closer to a Help Desk I/II role than a customer service role. Small company, so advancements are rare. Churn is fairly high as well, but that's to be expected in a tech company. Upper management can seem out of touch and does some really questionable things at times (buying a $12k massage chair for the company break room while our health premiums increase by 5%? Wtf?)
