private:mustseeindia https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=532872 Jun 25th, 2012 12:00AM Open Open Must See India Content Management Manager Bangalore Hits and Misses in a startup Started by 3 IIT's 4 years back, the company has seen tremendous progress in terms of Number of users coming to site Getting to being at-par & then over taking competitors who have been in the business for a very long time within a span of 3 years Building a good team, most people who could do multiple types of jobs & adapt quickly to ever changing priorities & tasks The hire & fire policy adapted. A person could be hired today & suddenly without any review, warning be sent home within a week/month or 6 months too. So people literally work with a dagger hanging on their head. The heads of the company are known to ask for new ideas from employees like me, reject them & then implement the very thing & never give due credit to employees. Starting 10 different new projects & not going through with 9 of them as nothing is thought through completely. The CEO having the main power of decision here, even though the other 2 partners have equal share & thought in starting this venture There are no uniform company policies applied for everyone in the company. So what one person does is not acceptable, is totally fine if another person does the same; creating a very bad environment in the company.
