Wonderful Culture, Intriguing Work

Wide variety of projects, can be working on data entry one day and interactive games the next. Fast-paced environment. The entire team is knowledgeable and knows how to make an impact on the industry. The culture is fantastic as everyone loves to come to work. Company is small in size, which allows a lot of interaction between coworkers across teams.

You must be good at what you do or you will be left behind. This is a fast-paced environment which has high expectations for their employees (but also rewards them appropriately).

Great Place to Work!!

Work alongside some really talented people. The management is pretty good and very friendly. Their office culture is pretty laid back like most smaller software companies. Lenient on hours as long as you get your work done by the end of the day.
|
Training the first 3 weeks is not that great. It's not terrible but could be much better. Not room for a whole lot of upward mobility either.

Great mix of both client application development and product development. Interesting technology and fun, knowledgeable development team.

Leadership at this time was a bit rocky. There started to be a lot of turnover and a lot of the senior people who had been with the company started leaving. This led to a bit of disorganization.

Casual atmosphere, flex time, fun coworkers, and some very bright spots in the talent pool, despite its size.

I got along great with most of my co-workers. The startup-like atmosphere helped me learn what I liked and disliked about working for a small company - specifically, that the pros outweighed the cons. I felt like I was always working on something interesting to me and loved working with the great creative team.
|
Sometimes working with the creative team can be a grind: when the software doesn't do things pixel-perfect against Photoshop, expect to hear about it. Also, you rarely get to tell people outside the company what exciting project you're working on until it's out in the real world.

The technical cofounder is a skilled engineer with lots of experience which makes him a great boss and coworker. The people who work there care about producing a great product but the work-life balance doesn't suffer.
|
Since it's a small company there isn't a lot of room for advancement. The tech scene in Lincoln isn't what it is in the Bay area.
