Disconnect between departments and upper management to lower staff. Oppininos are not valued. Dress codes are enforced for some and not for others. Definitely a divid between some of the staff.

Have a great team of leadership to learn from. Get the inside details of things you didn't know about sports operations and be around the best fans in the NHL. The hardest part of this job is the amount of time it requires from you, but that time allows you the opportunity to determine if you want a career in sports or not.

Productive workplace and Great learning experience
|
My internship at the Nashville Predators was the most fulfilling experience I have had to date because of the warm welcoming and the environment I was surrounded by daily. The experience I gained from taking on projects myself or getting to assist the whole department with was unlike anything I could have received anywhere else. From day one I realized my work here actually matters and is important to the whole team. My time interning with the Preds was a great learning experience and was everything and more I had hoped my internship would be.

Fun place to work

They treat you really well, the leadership is pretty absent but the work culture is great and a large reason for my overall job satisfaction. The pay is low, the hours are long, it can get stressful, but it is rewarding job with great opportunity for growth (if you can outlast the stress).

Worst experience of my life

It was just an awful place to work. I've never seen so much turnover. Office morale is terrible, which can really ruin a day. I highly recommend staying away from here.

Fun but time consuming internship
|
My typical day involved running multiple errands for the organization, answering consumers concerns and attending every single hockey to work with the fans.
I learned how to work in an extremely fast paced environment. The management and workplace culture is extremely fun and chill but will push you to do your best.
Hardest part was the hours, I worked over 400 by the end of one semester. Most enjoyable was how everyday was different.

I was an Intern. It was fun

It was a great time being an intern. We had a blast being able to interview players, and being in the arena when no one else was. We got to edit videos, and transpose the audio recordings. Being the locker room and at every game was great too. Go Preds!

There was an odd disconnect during my time at the internship. Sometimes I felt like I was part of the team and other times I was sent to get coffee or sit for hours on end without any direction. My experience was not typical however.
