Their market position is strong with their own IP. Its a great place to work--the more you put in, the more you get out. Navagis has been flexible in terms of compensation, and provided me with all the tools I needed for the office, including computer, monitor etc. Semi-frequent travel to accounts and Google offices is common, however Navagis makes it comfortable. The company had a great plan to use the google maps technology. They do not do background check or drug testing for employees. The interview process is very easy and the reviewer does not review the test provided. Most of their business is in Asia. No 401k, middle of the road health insurance. No idea how to calculate OTE. No real sales leadership experience. Very transactional business with little understanding of the solution sales process (US team). Competitive salary. Travel and work out of the Google campus in Mountain View. Working directly with Google Maps sales team. Complete and receive Google Sales Academy credentials. Commissions are low because they are tied to the margins from reselling Google Maps licenses. No commuter benefits. You have to use your own personal computer for work, no one is given a work computer. No cool office benefits. Travel to Google office is required but cost is not allowed to be expensed. Company office is 4 desks at the Runway Incubator located within the Twitter HQ. Very loud office setting which makes sales calls very difficult. Your personal cell phone is your office phone which is also not allowed to be expensed.
