Stay away
|
After the first week I started to look for a new job. They will sell you the moon and this great state of the company, but when you get in, you find out that the CEO is a disaster and the culture is horrible. All the bad stuff you read is true. Sales are poor. Feel really bad for the people who work there.

Not the place if you want a career
|
They just don't understand the value of employee's or customers. Its all about THEM not us or our idea's. Culture is hire fast, layoff just as fast. they believe there is no competition and "everyone will buy it" That's not how if works, you still have to sell it, it still needs to work, you still need to build relationships with your people and customers!! Its just not worth your time and effort!

You should probably avoid
|
In my short time at NetBrain, there was a lot of good but also a lot of bad. The good was that I did really like my team--people were smart, funny, and always willing to help. My manager was great, very approachable and helpful. Friday lunches were cool too.
Then came the bad. In terms of culture, it's not a very young place and it feels a bit depressing at times. I don't really feel like people feel very motivated to be there, and I began to feel like each day was becoming repetitive. The retention rate is very low, especially in sales. The services team is less of a hot mess, though.
The main reason I don't think people should consider NetBrain is business outlook. They did some massive hiring in the past year then quickly proceeded to lay several people off. Now they are in a massive hiring spree again, probably even more people than originally laid off, but the business isn't performing as well as it should. The product has some cool capabilities, but it takes forever to get customers up-and-running and does not necessarily set them up for success.
Morale is low, job security is low, and nobody seems to care. This isn't a place you should really want to work.
