Newbasis hires primarily non-violent ex-cons - felons, which seems quite charitable giving these individuals a second chance. You had best read all the reviews about NewBasis. All but the “Not a “Disgruntled EX Employee” review are accurate. I am not a disgruntled ex-employee, just an ex-employee that ran away from this hell hole. I am only taking the time to write here as a public service to spare anyone the nightmare that is NewBasis. If it were an option, I would give NewBasis no starts if I could. The concerned C.E.O.? That’s a laugh. That is just a show he puts on until one of his temper tantrums and then the terminations begin. They hire ex-cons because that about all that are willing to put up with the environment out of fear of going back to jail if not gainfully employed. The condescending treatment by USC no nothings is also accurate. Toxic fumes, lung clogging dust that that caring C.E.O. would not do anything about. I left over four years ago, and I am sure the toxic health hazards still exist. This is where the good health benefits come in handy. After living over half my lifetime I suddenly came down with asthma while working there. If you make the mistake of interviewing at NewBasis you will see and smell the toxic environment there. Then you will know I speak the truth. The positive review aforementioned is most likely one of the owners or the USC people. They seem to do well. The all have nice cars and such while the rest are struggling. Consider yourself warned. private:newbasis-2 https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=445131 Mar 20th, 2020 12:00AM Open Open NewBasis West Product Specialist United States USA Not a "Disgruntled EX Employee" Pros are based on your individual needs and will be different to all of us, mine are : 1) People 2) No limit to the support received by the main office 3) Quality product, employees are empowered to point out any unit that is questionable for the customer to receive. 4) You can work your way up the ladder, I work for a manager that started in making the enclosures and now in upper management and this is a great opportunity story for anyone looking for a career. 5) Look I just love what I do and the people I work with at Newbasis and the opportunity to work here. 6) I met the CEO after I was hired and his question to me " How does your wife feel about your working here and the medical & retirement benefits ?" That was a big " tell" for me and the values of Newbasis.
