Not paid as much as they had said they were paying and left many details out about how the program works first few months have been doing menial tasks that a college degree would not be necessary for. Nice managers and opportunities for advancement if it interests you but not the best job. Great place to start a career in the mortgage industry, and if you get in with the higher ups, they like to promote their buddies, but it’s long hours and less compensation that other employers. I was expected to hit my numbers no matter what. There were no work hours, sometimes I would be there for 60+ hours a week, especially during the slower periods. The company is ran in a despotic manner. They give each other fancy titles to make you feel better about yourself. You expect to join the "elites" one day and that's the only thing that keeps people showing up from day to day. I met some great people there, but most of them didn't last. They advertise 60K a year, but almost immediately, during the first interview, tells you that you're expected to work an additional 20 hours on top of the regular 40 hours. Basically, forget work/life balance. Furthermore, the culture of the office is really toxic with everyone forced to wear business professional attire like you're a part of some big name financial firm dealing multi-billion dollar deals, when, in reality, you're taking advantage of distressed veterans in financial hardship. Most of the time you're sitting at a computer and clicking the refresh button to see any new lead showing up so your co-worker doesn't steal it.
