There are no pros to working at this company. Save yourself the time, do not apply.
Extremely bad working environment, extremely bad management, cut-throat coworkers who will take your ideas and efforts just to get ahead, the company is a joke

Excellent Internship Experience!
I had an excellent experience interning at NEHI. I had the opportunity to get involved in multiple new and ongoing projects and make meaningful contributions to these projects. I was exposed to many areas of health policy research and was able to interact with high-level leaders in the health sector.
The environment at NEHI was supportive for interns from all levels; I was able to meet with and receive feedback from my direct supervisors as well as executive level staff.
The workload can be inconsistent depending on the time of year and status of projects. My supervisors truly made an effort to keep me busy and interested. However, you must be vocal and proactive about seeking assignments.
This is not a good fit for interns who do not want to take initiative in projects or need a lot of hand-holding and assistance in completing tasks. You must be independent, confident, and proactive.

great experience
I found my experience with this company to be a great stepping stone for my career as I was able to be involved with many areas within the organization. Management was always supportive especially when it came time for me to move on to another job. I would highly recommend NEHI as a place to work for individuals seeking experience in the evolving health care industry.
During my time of employment flexibility with work schedules across the board did not exist. However, I am told that this culture has changed within the organization and that the work/life balance has become management's priory for all employees. I find this to be a huge benefit for employees.
