Exciting but disjointed

For me it was an adjustment to a tech focused company. Lots of meetings and processes that I don't think are necessary. I work remotely fro home so I don't participate a lot in the day to day environment. I have 20+ years of insurance experience and am being assisted by those that have zero.

Banks do not belong in the insurance industry....their client referrals rarely turned into viable opportunities on the insurance side. They required the insurance people to take the same classes that their bankers took...they do not translate well

Good place in general

I liked ABD but found it to be a little "clicky". There are a lot of young, bright people who work there and the company is up and coming. I believe they have a good culture, but it's hectic and competitive work wise. The company does enjoy rewarding such hard work which was nice. The manager of my department was very difficult to please. I would likely still be there under a different direct report.
