Management, if you can call it that, is 1 person, the CEO/Owner. All decisions, big & small, are made by him. He is hard headed, in-flexible, immature, poor decision maker, illogical, makes changes on a whim, makes multiple changes at the same time and then can't figure out what went wrong, horrible with money - spends it all frivolously when there is money then lays people off when there isn't. The schedule is flexible. The shop people are friendly. The work was decent, when it's busy you can rack up some hours upon approval from the bosses. Management does not treat employees equally. The office people and shop people gets different benefits, office gets all the goods (easy salary, vacation days, PTO and sick days) and shop gets nothing but health insurance. Work fluctuates for the shop, when it's slow there are hour cuts and lay offs. Relaxed atmosphere that you can make your own schedule and complete work at own pace. The company is small enough that you get to do many different tasks and duties and so you get a lot of work experience. Not competitive compensation and benefits.
