Title: A Mixed Experience at NFL Films
I spent a significant amount of time working at NFL Films, and my overall impression is somewhat mixed. On the positive side, the company boasts a rich history and a stellar reputation within the sports industry. The atmosphere is undeniably charged with excitement, especially during football season, and the passion for the game is palpable throughout the office.
One of the standout aspects is the camaraderie among colleagues. The team spirit and shared enthusiasm for creating compelling content are infectious, fostering a sense of belonging. Working with seasoned professionals in the field can be both inspiring and educational.
However, my experience was not without its challenges. The work-life balance can be demanding, especially during peak seasons when the workload intensifies. This might be expected in such a fast-paced industry, but it's something potential employees should consider.

As a Regional College Scout I was able to really sharpen my evaluating skills. Building relationships is definitely key in Scouting and maintaining them as well. As for the culture in the NFL, it's a sport culture, of with a major emphasis competition. The goal is building a great team to win the big show.

What is the best part of working at the company?
My immediate Supervisor made a habit out of scapegoating his new hires for his own failings. This makes it very difficult to say anything positive about working for NFL, as it was allowed to go on, and reflects a toxic environment.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Knowing it was only a matter of time before I was thrown under the bus like others before me
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I was working a graveyard shift, so there wasn’t a lot of interaction with the majority of coworkers
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Jamf administration, new hire computer setups, cable management

Never get a break and no time to review work

Terrible. They treat you like a middle schooler.

Too many emails and meetings and not enough real work. Low pay, high expectations and a culture of selfishness and ego.
