I had a lot of freedom when deciding how to run my tutoring sessions. There was always help available related to supplies, printing, textbooks, etc. My manager was very helpful and flexible when it came to deciding hours and organizing groups.

I really enjoy proofreading the dissertations.

A typical day at work involves reading approximately 20 pages of a dissertation a day. This includes checking for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. In reading these dissertations, I have learned how to read papers for different spelling, grammar and punctuation errors. The management and workplace culture are very fast paced. The hardest part of the job is making sure I have everything proofread on time. The most enjoyable part of the job is checking for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.

Fun place to work

I schooled there so working in the dining commons everyone already knew who I was. This was my first semester with a job and I did my best academically since I got to Niagara and I was in my last semester of my sophomore year. I loved it , everyone there was friendly and they put me to work but it was worth it!
