The team was good. The colleagues, not all, were competent. The managers were good. The products were just fantastic. And, the processes were in place.

The managers did not know where the company was heading. The employees were clueless about what came their way. And, the bootleggers took advantage of the situation.

Noetix used to be great before it was acquired by Silverback - not anymore.

This used to be a great company to work for *before* Silverback acquired it - great people and great work environment. Everything changed after the acquisition - it doesn't even resemble the same company.

Too many to mention completely but after two huge layoffs most people are unhappy and trying to get out or wishing they had time to try to get out. Last person out: please turn off the lights.

Probably none - Silverback management is not listening and Magnitude management does not really have power to affect change. How about advice to customers? Noetix / Magnitude will likely implode within six months to a year. Any potential customers need to be carefully considering whether it's safe to buy their products.

The culture and the employees have been the BIGGEST part of why most people love to work for Noetix. Smart, talented, innovative people with creative ideas working together towards a common goal - to make, sell and support products that our customers love.
We've had our share of ups and downs this past year but moving forward as Magnitude Software, there is a lot of potential for growth if employees are up for the challenge.

Previous Silverback VC acquisition, small company feel with peers and employees all looking out for one another's success. Comp plan and benefits were employee friendly pre VC buyout.

Post acquisition by Venture Capital Silverback has upped the pressure to perform or else. Constant RIF's so VC can meet it's deadline to IPO or be acquired. Existing culture is one of a morgue with current FT employees walking the halls awaiting their fate for the next RIF
