The school is run by corporate minds who chase dollars at the expense of education. It relies heavily on adjunct labor and it knowingly exploits and impoverishes its poorest faculty members. For some time now, it has been in the process of dismantling its humanities programs, even though it still touts itself as a liberal arts college. You get to meet so many people and get to make a difference with peoples's lives. After being a stay at home mom for a few years looking to get back into the working world I loved this job, it worked great with my home life because I had a child in school so when my child went on breaks from school so was I. The Kitchen enviroment was my favorite the people were great to work with, something you dont come across often in the work place.
