This is a district that truly cares for their students. With a strong connection to the military, a child enters the school district at any step in their educational journey and immediately starts "Learning for Life." A strong emphasis on the arts, the school district takes ab aggressive approach on sustainability and green initiatives. It seems like our students and schools are winning awards each week.

The facilities and maintenance team does a great job of maintaining our buildings, but new schools will be needed in the future.

The pay at OHSD is extremely low for the area you live. The school district has large percentage of Navy families, which means that you will have students moving throughout the year and you never know how many will come or go.
