Current operations manager is running his third company into the ground. Accounting department has "cooked" the books for years. Only company in the world that can lose a million dollars of inventory and not a soul knows or cares. Best part of job is the schedule and OT if you need. Benefits are ok. Each employee is expected to go above and beyond but never receive a performance review or raise. Everyone in my department is over worked and under paid. The stress level is through the roof. When I first started the job, I loved it. It seems the owners/management have ceased to care about their employees. Management personnel are resigning at an alarming rate. Pallets are overstocked and double or triple stacked on top of each other with little capability for goods to be retrieved from outside units. Team units are not cohesive and do not come together for the same goal, instead departments are often tearing one another down. Maybe pick some orders then go back to packing. I would ship product as well. I learned how to use a forklift and use Starship and UPS Worldship. My managers were friendly and helpful. Most of my co-workers were friendly and hard-working. But no matter where you go, there will be that one who slacks off. The hardest part of the job would be being understaffed at times.
