An enjoyable place to work
|
I unlocked the building at 6:30 AM five days per week and began teaching at 7:00 AM. After facilitating the lesson plan for the day I took the Student-techs to the lab-shop for hands on activities. The afternoons were spent updating student records, writing lesson plans. giving campus tours to prospective students and preparing for the next day.
I learned a lot of patience while working with students.
I worked well with management always going the extra mile.
The culture is based on multicultural acceptance. People from all walks of life and backgrounds attend OTC and are treated with equal dignity.
The most difficult part of my job was the low salary and little job security. I still stayed as long as I could.
The most enjoyable part of my job was helping to change lives for a bright future in the Automotive Industry.

I had plenty to keep me busy with this job, such as faxing, daily reports, data entry, answering the phone, helping students and faculty, and doing end of day reports. I learned the basic skills one needs to know on how an office is suppose to run. My co-workers were great.

I thoroughly enjoy working here! Everyday is something different, and it is a very rewarding place to work. I love interacting with the students and the faculty/staff. There is an open door policy and everyone follows it to a tee. It is so great to be able to talk to everyone of management about anything you need to. All of my co-workers are great and I am excited to be able to advance within this company.
