the guilt of knowing we would screw people over with their contracts. We were trained how to get customers to sign a document without displaying the length of their contact, or the repercussions of it.

ANYONE CAN GET HIRED HERE AS LONG AS YOU CAN PASS A DRUG TEST , BACKGROUND SCREENING AND SOMEWHAT CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.

INSTALLING EQUIPMENT NOT PER CODE. PLUMBING CODE IS THERE TO PROTECT THE LIVES OF PEOPLE AND THE PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY. Code enforcement in every state this company is located should be investigating this company and their practices. Check valves and drain saddle clamps are not per code anywhere in the USA. The technicians hired by this company are unknowingly installing this equipment per their rules which are not per code. They are going to get someone sick or worse kill someone. I wish them the best but at the same time I have told them numerous times that what they are doing is ILLEGAL. I even took it to the president of the company and was told they are not changing their ways. Supervisors told me they have not been caught yet so there is nothing they can do about it. Installing equipment on non potable water is not only against the warranty and installation instructions from the companies they buy their coolers from it can endanger peoples lives. OSHA needs to investigate this company as well. I can't believe the way a technician has to contort their body to load equipment in their company vehicle. Not to mention that the new hires are not provided the proper safety gear right off the bat. Nor are they provided with proper instruction on what is needed or how to use safety gear. The training class was a joke. By the time it was over the knowledge I walked away with had nothing to do with the actual job. They should teach us the laws on how to install this equipment. They should teach us OSHA regulations pertaining to our job. They should teach us the basics of how reverse osmosis works. They should teach us that turning up the ozone on these machines too high can cause kidney failure. BE FOREWARNED this company is about the bottom dollar not protecting lives. Benjamin Franklin said "A penny saved is a penny earned." But when it can cause kidney failure, contaminate the water supply or cause a life altering injuring to an employee then it is not worth all the pennies in the world.
another con: they told me to let them know when I have personal events (birthday parties, children's school events, dinner dates with my wife)planned after hours so they can make sure to rearrange after hours work for me. I dropped out of night school because they kept scheduling after hours work for me on my school nights that I had told them about in advance. You hired me saying this was 730 to 4 position. My personal time is my time. Be respectful of your employees personal time. A happy employee is a productive employee.

Reevaluate the way your company does business. AJ you and I have discussed these items before and you blew me off.
Plumbing code is the law no matter how much you think you are saving money by not following it consider the damage to people and water supplies you could already be doing.
OSHA would have a field day with you if they find out the safety violations your company forces your employees to do.
Be respectful of your employees personal time. A happy employee is a productive employee.

Listen to sales reps and lower managers. Focus on quality of service rather than quantity. Solve the issue between business developers and account execs. Account execs often end up going to appointments that aren't real, but BD's get paid. Waste of gas and time for AE.

Horrific Management at almost every level!

Service techs work under almost a complete lack of supervision-decent benefits but health insurance rates very high. Great employees at tech and RSM levels-
|
Agree with prior review about non-compliant installs. Never used or saw a single air gap in place which is a requirement in almost every state. On a regular basis would be berated by former customers who cancelled contracts but we were still going out to remove or service missing equipment. Mind boggling screwups with dispatch-customer service billing etc. Would perform a call on Mon and then same called would get redispatched a few days later! Wrong address and misinformation almost always a daily occurrence. If you want to drive all day and really never work due to their incompetence, maybe your perfect job!

Don't waste a ton of time and money training people to service your coolers which could be completed locally in 2-3 days. When a plumbing inspector calls OneSource out on it's installs, maybe then techs will get proper training and parts to do drain connections legal without a health hazard. When a sink clogs with filthy sewerage and you only rely on your $4..00 plastic check valve to prevent contamination to unit water-nonsense!
