We are currently seeking experienced Wind Turbine Technicians to support various scopes of work across the United States.This is a full-time travel position and applicants should have at least 2-years experience working as a Wind Turbine Technician.Competitive pay & perks, infectious company culture and great managers who actually care about.The successful candidate will need to safely perform the following tasks:Scheduled maintenance of Wind Turbine Generators including: inspection, greasing, cleaning, torqueing and tensioning of bolted connectionsApply LOTOElectrical TroubleshootingHydraulic TroubleshootingFollow and implement work procedures to for specific scopes of work to inspect, repair and maintain Wind Turbine componentsPopulate, track and communicate client and company documentation on a daily basisMaintain a clean work area, equipment and toolingPerform other daily work requirements as directed by Site ManagementMaintain required training certifications for position (Fall Protection/Rescue Training, NFPA 70E, OSHA 10, LOTO, First Aid/CPR/AED)JOB PACKAGE:$21 - $30 / hour (depending on experience)Company truck and gas cardPer DiemsPaid travel daysMonthly cell phone allowance401K & Health Benefits All workwear & PPE provided 30:10 rotation Great company culture and management that cares Fast-track to move up in a smaller but quickly growing company
Requirements
Training from an accredited Wind Turbine Technology Program and/or 2 years of experience as a Wind Turbine TechnicianFirm commitment to safetyBe a believer in renewable energy Ability to work hard and still have fun Positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learnTraveling position, with scheduled rotations to wind farms and projects across the U.S.A.Valid Driver's LicenseIn physical condition to climb a wind turbine (300+ feet) and lift / move equipment (50+ pounds)Proficient in the use of a mobile device and/or computer to complete digital reporting on a daily basisAttention to detailAbility to work with a team mentality and liaise with customers to ensure quality of serviceWork in adverse weather conditions and extreme temperatures
