Board and exec team failed everyone.
Jay, the CEO that was hired to take the company IPO, has never taken any company IPO as CEO. His companies are sold at loss, same fate for optimizely. Company sold at 1/3 of highest valuation and new parent Episerver took away most of the benefits so people can quit on their own.
Episerver can rehire cheaper engineers in Hanoi, but good luck out maintaining the product with crazy high rate of attrition.

Some very strong ICs although most have left, products that perform well, good benefits

A c-suite that has completely failed and driven a good company into the ground. CEO failed to recognize the need to pivot to progressive delivery 2+ years too late. The CRO totally missing the mark with the Accenture partner strategy, hunter-farmer sales model, and CSM to TAM move. Culture, which was once great, has become very toxic. Good company gone bad.

- Salaries are good
- Secondary benefits are great
- You get to work with smart people on a great product
|
- Incredibly poor management across the board. From spin-doctors in CXO to some of the worst people managers you can imagine at the mid-level. It's truly impressive this company made it as far as it did.
- Very little attention to culture or corporate values. It's an "every man for himself" mindset that the company enforces by consistently making decisions that are in the best interest of the company without any consideration to its people, loyalty or longterm vision.
- Go To Market strategy seems lacking. Company has pretty much given up and therefore sold us off for pennies on the dollar.
