great company
Their team displayed exceptional knowledge and expertise in their field, guiding me through every step of the process with ease. Communication was seamless, with prompt responses to any inquiries I had.
The quality of their products/services exceeded my expectations. Not only were they of the highest caliber, but they were also delivered in a timely manner.

Growing Company but Lack of Career Advancement Opportunities
Been there 5 years and still in the same role with small salary improvements. Would like more career advancement opportunitities but the company is growing and earning high marks from peer reivews which is exciting!

Don't waste your time
I worked in Berlin office (EpiServer).
If you really care about your career path, avoid this company.
Don't believe what you hear during the interviews, they just want to influence your decision.
Less work pressure in comparison with other companies
Terrible work culture, dishonest behavior

Amazing people, rapidly growing company
At Optimizely, I feel supported and listened to. Every employee gets to make an impact rather than being a cog in a machine.
I also feel like I have a lot of resources to grow my career at Optimizely. I can't speak highly enough about the people I work with, and I feel secure in my position. Optimizely is a really stable and financially sound company.

Great PTO, generous 401k match being rolled out, work-life balance, amazing and talented people

Good company which cares about the employees
It comes with a very good health care benefits. It has work-life balance and most of all, co-workers are very nice.
The salary is not too competitive compared to others but it's suitable for someone who love to work in a stress-free environment.

Products are OK, but management is dragging their feet
I've used their products (Episerver content and commerce) and both are ok. When I began working at Epi I saw the typical politics, not all that unusual. But what bothered me was the lack of direction across teams. I had a good manager, but she was an island with little impact or involvement elsewhere. It was quite frustrating. Right now, sales/field staff are king, everything else is secondary...and I'm on a PM team. Would I recommend Episerver as a place to build a career? No. It's a nice stepping stone to something more challenging where PM/engineering is a better driver of the company's business.
Salary and benefits are on-par with industry
PM/engineering teams are under-resources with no voice on roadmaps

Avoid this place
The culture is toxic and completely ran by HR. You will have a better chance obtaining a position that advances you in your career years before you get a promotion at Optimizely. There are SDR's who have been in their position for over 2 years with consistent quota attainment and have never been promoted. Attaining quota is based on which territories you're assigned. Management is absolutely horrible here.
