I learned how to work with different age groups of kids along with a staff of many differnet aged counselors. For the most part the job was fun and my co-workers were awesome and easy to get along with. The hardest part of the job was getting children to constantly be involved and ensure that they were safe while having a fun time. During my time interning I have shadowed the Town Supervisor for hours at a time, picking up some good customer service qualities to have as well as some interpersonal and organizational skills. The hardest part of my job is the time frame in which I have had to volunteer my time. There was no set schedule and I found myself making days to work at short notice.
