You can be asked to do a work which is not even related to your profile by giving any stupid reason. -A very small team still you will be treated like you're an alien. -Too much intellectual people (literally too much) are sitting on HR post. -Recommended for those who can do an enormous level of buttering to their Reporting Managers and that's the only thing you can learn from your managers. -Less work, more interference in your personal life. A waste of valuable years of your life time. The company is just managing to run and don't expect your salary ever on time. No value of your time and effort Bad location in a rural area No clear role defined would have to do anything High politics and specially not recommend for guys Recently the HR in the name of PR exercise has started a new way to keep itself occupied by having interview process every third week and not hiring anyone. I pity the people who come all the way after going through 2-3 rounds and they hire no one out of over 50 people generally. Employee wanted to take leave to be with the family, however our probation policy didn't allow the same. We did bend our policy and allowed 9 leaves over the period of 45 days however this was not enough and the employee wanted more leeway. We could have reconsidered if a clear horizon and plan would have been shared with us. Even the time that the employee spent at work was not productive enough because of regular personal distractions. We are a small company where each individual is extremely crucial and being absent for such longer duration in an unplanned manner impacts the productivity of the whole organization.\r\n\r\n\r\nWe think our learning is to allow such employees time out from work right away. I have been lucky to have some excellent colleagues who have helped to shape this product. In the last 3 years this product has taken the shape that we have always dreamed of. Building a workplace where employees could be themselves was the second important aim that I always valued. 1. An empowered culture where individuals could take decisions without fear of feedback 2. Excellent work life balance where employees enjoy a flexible 8 hour work day 3. Always ensuring that employees get meaningful work 4. Paying salaries way above the market average to ensure better satisfaction 5. Ensuring every Manager communicates(in fact over communicates) and resolves every problem of an employee within a week at the latest. 6. Ensuring that every individual is treated well at the time of leaving the company so that it is a professional parting of ways. . Alas in this journey, like any CEO I have many mistakes. However they were never intentional. The most important and relevant 3 things are as follows . 1. We have delayed salaries of employees upto a maximum of 3 weeks. 2. We have delayed incentives of employees for many months. 3. We have delayed stipends of students for many months. P.S. We have always paid out every single rupee.
