Management doesn't have a clue what they're doing it's like telling a rock to speak. Hostile work environment. Lots of favoritism and lack of brain cells. They take advantage of you and it seriously takes a toll on your mental health. NO RAISES. No matter how long you have been there! The fruit is always moldy and no one says anything about it. No one wears gloves when handling food. The entire kitchen could blow up and they will find a way to hide it. Maintenance is the worst they are very slow and they never want to pay for anything to get fixed. Management has no idea what's going on out side of their offices. They take advantage of the employees who work hard everyday to make the residents happy. No one makes a livable wage. They are super disorganized. The kitchen is ALWAYS running out of food in the first hour of service. The food is cold 80% of the time. The food presentation in jail looks better than here at Pacifica. Always understaffed while having to do double the work in other departments and we don't get compensated for it. There is no communication between the heads of each department. Everyone runs around like chickens with their heads cut off. Anyways, enter at your own risk.

The residents were what made the job.
|
Corporate does not care about resident needs. There is no support or any programs in place for resident care. The building was absolutely filthy and nothing was being done to clean it up. Services promised were not provided and it made me out to be the liar to families who trusted me to place their loved one.
