Fun co-workers, never boring, decent benefits, and tuition waivers.
Campus is in city center and close to public transportation hubs.

Low pay and no cost of living adjustments (three years ago was last COLA. And it had been three years before that...).
The Board and Senior Staff do not prioritize addressing compensation issues--this issue is over a decade old with no effort towards resolution.
Lack of institutional support for training/professional development.
Many departments are understaffed.

Great students stressful environment

It was great to work with so many amazing students and faculty. The access to labs and the library is amazing if you are an artist or designer.
|
The upper administration is struggling to support staff and faculty. Lots of turn over. This means many people do more than is on their job description and are not compensated enough.
