Great leadership, positive work environment
|
Excellent communication from leadership and upper management. Monthly updates from the CEO, regular team and department huddles and meetings. Mostly positive people, comparatively little to no drama. The work is challenging and there's great team effort and support. Lots of perks and bonuses. Opportunities for growth and advancement. The downside is training issues (inadequate training for the complexity of the job) less pay compared to similar work elsewhere, and the way paid time off and overtime are calculated is not as good as other places I've worked. But overall I'm happy to work here.

Great benefits
|
PacificSource pay is competitive and pays more than most companies in Idaho. The benefits were excellent. Management within the call center needs improvement. Very cliche leads and favoritism which has been brought to management and then nothing changed. One in particular in the leads is very outspoken and thinks she is funny when making sarcastic comments if you are out sick or sarcastic comments in general which are not always funny given they tend to be directed at an individual (like high school). Advancement is difficult given they tend to already have someone picked before the interview begins.

Need to have full experience to work claims even if they say they will train you.
|
I loved the work environment and coworkers but since I was new to working claims the training was not sufficient and managers didn’t have enough time to come by my office desk to help when I had questions. Then, when Covid 19 stay at home orders happened the company down sized to more experienced claim analysts to cover influx insurance claims and newer employee such as myself were let go.

Avoid working here as a Health Services Rep

The Health Services Dept in Bend OR is a really bad, unprofessional group. I am semi retired and was just looking for a job to meet the bills. What a hostile and unprofessional group. Employees coming back from work smelling like skunk ( stoned). HR is totally hostile if you report situations like this, The position, which is basically data entry, changes its criteria for filling out the online forms on a daily basis. It appears to be a lot of made up instructions that make no sense. Total busy work, made up by employees trying to justify their jobs. I would not work here as the position does not train you for any skills to be used outside the company.
