Lots of opportunity to be involved in operations. Lots of opportunity to have more responsibility then you can handle. Leadership is micromanagement incarnate. There is no trust in their employees, so every second of the day is documented. No career growth opportunities. Training is on a "Who is friends with the CEO" basis. There is a LOT of favoritism to those who say yes to the CEO, even if that isn't in the best interest of the company. No real vision for where to take the software, just trying to play catchup. Limited Dev resources, means projects take a long time to complete, on top of never ending bug fixes related to age and complexity of software -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 1.0 3.0 1.0 1.0 3.0 1.0 816060 Open Current owner should just do owner stuff. Snacks, company lunches, and friendly coworkers with shared interests. Sitting / standing desks are a nice option, and working from home policies are liberal. Senior management overpromises without being able to deliver and puts unrealistic expectations on all employees to overperform beyond what's possible to accomplish with available time and tools. In addition, the sales team tends to oversell current capabilities, or promise custom work. Company is lagging behind the market with technoligies and behind competitors with available features. The devleopment team is always working on holding things together instead of constructive coding or improvements to the product. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 2.0 3.0 3.0 2.0 2.0 1.0 816060 Open Management needs to trust the people they hire to do their job without you watching over [every single detail], and recognize the people who work hard. private:pagedna https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=816060 Jun 26th, 2018 12:00AM Open Open PageDNA United States USA The Beatings will continue until Morale Improves... All the people who work in the trenches - Customer Support/Training, Professional Services, Software Engineering - all are excellent and committed to company success as well as each other. All are more than willing to assist each other and dig into issues that they have no explicit experience or knowledge of - and this is a huge component of why this company still exists today in a space that has a limited market capitalization with a few players who have better more modern interfaces. Whenever there is an explicit target set and committed to as a roadmap to success, this group is entirely committed and actively working to meet and exceed this set of goals. Customers have recognized these efforts and actively communicated back to leadership without prompting. Company Leadership - there has been a shift in leadership and direction in the company, resulting in a less stable and much more reactive decision tree being adopted instead of focusing on long term benefits and success. The top 2 leaders at the company are running 3 separate roles each, resulting in no one role being executed with any efficiency or effectiveness. Ever changing priorities that tend to simply focus on oiling the squeaky wheel instead of prioritizing for the biggest ROI or highest value reduction in operational costs (both of which would improve bottom line) result in a constant churn and focus on remediation work instead of driving forward. The more junior of the two leaders has told reports that he prefers to have reports who fear him over respect him as he can demand things and they deliver as opposed to discussion and agreement on sensible logical action. Distaste and impatience for long term projects rules the day here, over promising delivery of features/projects even though existing staffing cannot support delivering on even half the committed projects in the timeframes communicated to customers. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL -1.0 DISAPPROVE 1.0 2.0 2.0 2.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 816060 Open Senior ownership should return and reclaim control of the company - inexperience at the present leadership level will cause devaluation or loss entirely of the value of the company as with the perpetual failure to deliver on projects/features to customers will cause your base to leave and work with your competitors regardless of how foul their customer support is. Immaturity and inability of leadership to promote from within to hand off manager level responsibilities means morale will continue to erode, and people will eventually leave the company further challenging the company's ability to meet the really assertive project pipeline (of which several projects are 2-3 years late on delivery commitments). Loyalty will only take so much abuse before it wears thin. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 0.0 Mar 29th, 2021 05:40PM Mar 29th, 2021 05:40PM PageDNA

Great Benefits. In my first month i've had nothing but exceptional experiences with this company. From management down to my co-workers, they have been friendly, open, and fun. What ever issues some previous employees may have experienced I can honestly say, they don't exist for me. I am very happy I found PageDNA, and that they hired me. If there is a con, it's only that the office space is small. But this is minor compared to the overall benefits and culture being built here. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 816060 Open Keep up the excellent communication and focus on our future. private:pagedna https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=816060 Nov 27th, 2015 12:00AM Open Open PageDNA Seattle, WA Decent people; very poor management Benefits are about average for the industry and Seattle area. They're pretty generous with the "work from home" approach when needed. They provide snacks and beverages, which is a nice touch. Sit/stand desks and nice views out any of the windows. Senior management is micromanaging the life out of this company, which effectively neuters the many directors. (Speaking of, why is 20% of their staff managers? Is that really necessary?) The company also staffs a large amount of developers, who mostly seem to be busy "Shhhh! -ing" other people in the open office and then get defensive when anyone asks what they've been up to all day. The product itself is incredibly dated and pales in comparison to many of this company's competitors. The code is ancient and basically bandaged together; it breaks constantly. In job postings, they advertise "growth opportunities" but then they tell all new hires that that's not entirely true; they can "advance" within the company if they choose to stay in the exact same position as where they were hired. If it doesn't make any sense to you, just imagine how it feels to new hires! -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 4.0 2.0 5.0 1.0 1.0 4.0 1.0 816060 Open Learn how to relinquish some control and let your employees do what you pay them for. private:pagedna https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=816060 Nov 26th, 2015 12:00AM Open Open PageDNA United States USA Archaic product and poor management Nice downtown office, drinks and snacks are provided in the kitchen, some desks have sit/stand features, most team members get along well & environment can be very collaborative, depending on the department. The product is VERY dated and difficult to navigate. The company employs a LOT of developers and they seem to only spend their time just patching issues (or trying to, anyway). Many times new features are built without the developer having any idea of how they're actually supposed to work so when the feature is nearing completion, they find things wrong and have to start all over. Compare the product to any of its many competitors and you will see it lagging FAR behind. Senior management is incapable of separating personal feelings from professional business which leaves nepotism to run rampant. As another reviewer mentioned, drama does frequently pop up but I don't see it as a function of it being a small team; rather, I see it as the culture that has been created by incredibly poor management which intends to remove all possibilities for advancement or professional growth by micromanaging the living daylights out of the entire team. This company advertises growth opportunities but then tells new hires that they are tied to their position for the duration of their employment; no changing of positions is allowed and they would rather lose a quality employee than find a better fit for them within the organization. Meanwhile, poorly functioning employees are kept on way longer than they should be, due to personal ties they may have with Management. Very toxic environment. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL -1.0 DISAPPROVE 7.0 2.0 5.0 1.0 1.0 4.0 1.0 816060 Open Nothing--I think they're too far gone to make the needed changes to their behavior. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 0.0 Mar 29th, 2021 05:40PM Mar 29th, 2021 05:40PM PageDNA

They care about their employees and I have seen them go out of their way to help employees out, on a personal level. They are privately held and profitable, so they are stable.
