I believe that more people, these days, have too much stress going on in their lives. You are connected - Mentally, Physically and Emotionally and if one part of your life is out then, it affects the other parts of your life.
An example of this might be, that you are at work, on the computer all day and you get sore shoulders and back. This may lead to tension headaches, or worse, and then you need time off work (Physical stress). Because you have time off work you are thinking about not earning an income, and having arguments with the people you love (Mental stress). Your immune system may be low and then you catch a cold (back to Physical stress) and then you become sad or depressed (Emotional stress). You get the idea.
Think of your body like a computer. You add programs that may or may not be great for the running of your computer. You also delete programs. However even when you delete some of the programs, there are still fragments left over and the efficiency could be better. The answer is Defrag! It's the same with your Mind & Body. You need to look after your Mind & Body so it does not crash.
You do need some stress in your life, as this motivates you to get out of bed in the morning and do the things you need to do. However too much stress leads to an unwell Mind & Body.
