They go above and beyond to ensure that everything is safe and clean. Ownership has stuck to their quarterly bonus program for years (even when sales and profits aren't what they hoped). Once officially "hired on", Every quarter you get a bonus, and this is based on 20% of your pay earned from hours worked that quarter. Heath Benefits are amazing! There's tuition reimbursement, Free tickets to the Newport aquarium, discount LCC fair tickets, and a discounted rate at a message place in Eugene. They definitely take care of their employees through the holidays- $50 gift card for Thanksgiving, Pumpkins for Halloween, Trees for Christmas, Company Parties for Christmas and Summer Picnic, plus a few small other things as well. I gave three stars because of the immature environment you have to just deal with. If you don't have a thick skin and can't ignore the drama and gossip spread about you (even if you're a head down type of person -it will happen regardless) than it will be a tough time for you. The talent pools this company gets their temps from is more like a mud puddle and work ethic and morals are not criteria they require - so pretty much any warm body will get in the door. There are 30 -40-year-olds on the floor who thrive off the drama they cause, (you know the ones that peaked in High School) and the younger 20 somethings just open themselves right up to it. It's literally a "Mean Girls" high school environment. Everybody has made the rounds hooking up with the other employees (I've heard some gross rumors), supervisors don't want to waste their own energy on correcting any complaints of harassment or misconduct - Not for their pay rate anyway. It's just a mess - don't trust anyone you work with basically and cover your back daily. I will say that upper management level (those that have an office) are usually honest and great management - they just don't have the bandwidth to deal with a bunch of whiney children, so it's rather often that some legit complaints are brushed off right along with the petty ones so keep that in mind. If you get the opportunity to work here - take it! It is a great company - but keep your head down and don't trust others - even if it's been a while and you think you can. Don't complain about petty things or the drama - they are well aware of it; you'll just be seen as rocking the boat and they don't have time for that. It's not pleasant to be surrounded by immaturity at times, but you do get paid well and get additional benefits other companies don't offer. Get them some training on conflict management, authoritative communication, and leadership tools so they can address some of the drama issues and promote a team-oriented atmosphere. Leadership listens and works every day make the department a better, safer, fun, and personally rewarding place to be. Benefits are solid, and stress is fairly low. The company was in an exciting growth spurt throughout my time and moral around the growth was high. Tee shirts and goody bags were common place along with ice cream sandwiches and Amazon gift cards. The company has a CARE committee and it shows.
