They process water lentils (pond weeds) into a green powder, the work is hot, wet, and LOUD. they have no buyers of this product, just secret investors. they sell nothing and ship nothing, the loading dock is never used, the job is heart breaking. the workers like me were good people, we got along well. the overhead at that place is very high, yet, they sell nothing and ship nothing. if this doesn't sound fishy to you what does.

Good "stepping stone" job.

Zero chance of advancement. The company is terrible when it come to advancing people that have worked in the company for a long time. They prefer keeping management within the family, whether it is at pilot plan or at headquarters. Often, they hire people with ZERO experience to fill a position they have no clue about. But it is ok, as long as you are in the CEO trust circle.
Job security is terrible. From day 1 you are told that the job is temporary and every month is treated as your last.
The Benefits are good if the company hires you as a fulltime employee. Unfortunately, most people are hired as contractors, which means zero benefits of any kind.
Fortunately, those who work hard, which exclude a lot of the mgt and executive employees, get a broad range of skills which can be useful in future jobs.
