A place that allows you to mature in your role. I managed an in-house graphic design team and freelancers, oversaw the magazine design production, photo editing, and print quality. I also designed covers, feature stories, and layouts for multiple regions as well as house ads and special issues, including creating templates and standards, and art-directed food and entertainment photo shoots. In this role, I learned how to be a better manager, resolve conflicts between more than two people, and got over being "star-struck" around celebrities. The hardest, or more accurately the most frustrating part of the job, was grooming young designers who were new to the team, while maintaining brand consistency and quality. The most enjoyable part of the job was threefold.
