Working for Paradigm was the best experience of learning work ethic! The owners were in the office daily along with their siblings and mother from Connecticut. My father also ran the warehouse where I was able to see him during the weekdays which was the best part. I had zero knowledge in medical billing and coding until I worked for paradigm! Everything I know office related

This was an unfortunate place to be employed. Disputes over territory, unethical business practices
|
Each morning began with the 50 minute commute to the office/warehouse to pick up delivery products, often times orders had not been filled or marked properly. Individual territories for salespeople were unclear and caused confusion and made working together difficult. Commissions were not paid in a timely manner. Management was not responsive to requests for assistance. Certain products were not made "custom" as advertised. Follow-up for complaints were ignored by management. I had little opportunity to work with co-workers.

-this distribution company is still living in the 1960's
product is old and of poor quality; manufacturing & shipping problems have plagued them for years without any resolution in sight
-management is over zealous about pushing the commission-only sales reps, but has no vision for the co and does NOT lead by example;
-sales rep turn-over is very high as the pay structure is unreasonable; monthly % of product sold [no transparency; only management sees the #s] -no benefits, no EI, no CPP, no vac, no sick time
-co does NOT pay any expenses as they claim sales reps are "sub-contractors" but the employment contract forces exclusivity which contravenes CRA regulations
-CRA should investigate; sales reps are treated as employees; micro-managed, detailed trip reports required..... but co does NOT pay employee income taxes, IE deductions, or CPP .....
-this co is definitely part of the "underground economy"
