(PDS) Customer Support Specialist Madison, WI USA Don't join this company! This company has a lot of problems. Very little effort put in from top management. Most of the programs the company uses are used through third-party companies, which run into problems every other day. Everything is ran by metrics and top management does not see the underlying problems that occur on a day to day basis. The company tries to pay you off with lunch days twice a month to distract from issues surrounding the company. Lastly, your hourly pay rate every year will not keep up with today's economy with how they budget the company. You are given temp assignments which really aren't temp, they are full year intervals and renewed year after year. Yet you aren't a "real employee, just a contractor". They think this is a legal workaround for not paying benefits, and you aren't given a 1099 form just a w2? (PDS) Customer Support Specialist Madison, WI USA Do not work here When I first started here, PDS was a very laid back company which I highly enjoyed. Some days were busy and others were very laid back. However into the middle of my time there, everything changed and the supervisors and managers only cared about the money that we were bringing in and not the employees. Instead of correcting your mistake when you first made it, they would make a list of all the times you made that mistake and punish you by writing you up, or taking away your remote privileges for six months. Why not give the employee the chance to correct it right away? I am surprised many people are still there considering employees were thinking about leaving the same time I did. Many people that have been there for years also left once everything started to shift in the wrong direction. The sad thing also was that your own leads would talk badly about you behind your back and you would hear it from another lead or co-worker. That is very upsetting considering they are supposed to help you and you are all on one team together. Though it never felt like it because the leads would even talk bad about each other when all of us around them could hear it clear as day. This place became awful and toxic and I hated going in every single day..
