Culture is toxic; small town with local employees who hate each other if you are not part of their individual group; benefits suck-no 401K, they have to teach each other to be nice; top of the hospital team don't practice what they preach; if you happen to be a lowly tech or housekeeping, good luck on getting them to say hi to you even though that they say everyone is supposed to say hi; not enough people to do the job; and the nurses suck; they do not document anything and are constantly getting visits from the state; go somewhere else if you can

Quality is inconsistent between the units and within the units themselves. Some doctors are fantastic and some are just punching a clock. (like the staff)

Busy ER with short staffing
|
Most times would work short staffed and be given more patients than policy stated we would have. Little to no help at nights when things were extremely busy but I liked the other departments and the director of the ER.

Did not stay a Paris Regional Long enough to provide a thorough review.
|
Paris Regional Medical Center consisted of two facilities: one located down down, the other north of the city off the loop. The pharmacists located in the downtown facility performed all the clinical interventions and all the pharmacists at the alternate site performed the majority of order entry. There was no CPOE and all orders where scanned.
