CI makes $30 an hour while CT makes $27 an hour. - Pay may decrease due to the low number COVID-19 cases in MA. If you are okay with being micromanaged and monitored every minute this job is for you. Your supervisor will contact you every 15 minutes to monitor you. You are expected to make calls every minute. You only get a two15-minute break and one 30 minute break. From there you are expected to be on the phone every minute even if you just got off a 3-hour call and may need a mental break. You can lose your job at any moment due to very minimal reasons such as not logging out properly or using too much sick hours EVENTHOUGH WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC. Supervisors and management are all about numbers so if you are not hitting their mark be ready to be let go. As well, they will not tell you what the mark is so you will be guessing every day what goals you were supposed to meet. There is so much to be said. This job has led to the creation of a private employee chat group to speak freely about our depression and anxiety caused by this job. There have been MANY who have quit and left due to their anxiety and depression from this job. The early days of the CTC were bound to be rocky, but it was shocking how little attention was paid to employee wellbeing. Hours were truly crazy--all waking hours, 7 days/week at a crazy pace, with management seemingly OK with that level. The problem was inexperienced management at the very top of the CTC.
