The head of the interns was great, tried to get everyone aquainted

Slave labor, they pretty much just had 10 interns there writing bios and reviews for the website. They thought it was going to be so successful and didn't want to take anyones advice. The company kept trying to add on features instead of just keeping the features that were actually good. IT was just so disorganized

Melrose location. Some other co-workers (on my level) were nice. That is all.

Appalling, egotistical managers who thought they were the next big thing. Everyone had to bring and work on their own laptops in a cramped office.
Business model that apparently doesn't work - sounds good in theory but they rely on people who are paid next-to-nothing to write the reviews. Absurd and completely unnecessary amount of editing that wasted everyone's time.
They pitted employees against each other to the point that it became an unbearable place to be. No one I worked with is still there - everyone quit within a few months because of the environment. I have no idea how the managers justify the way they treat people - they must be in denial.

Everything else: sweatshop environment, managers on power trips, business model that doesn't seem to work.
Of my six former co-workers, none are still there. It was a disgusting, stressful place that still gives me nightmares.

Working with Party Earth was a great experience - I got to learn a lot about my own city while simultaneously using the job to gain access to some perks within different clubs and bars. The managers/editors were professional and also great to work with and always kept a fun environment - I mean duh the company is called Party Earth.

The managers were too patient with my delinquency in doing things in a timely manner. Other than that no real complaints!

Amazing Learning Experience

Being my first ever job, Party Earth has been responsible for instilling a 'get it done' attitude and strong work ethic in me. Having been involved at the company for so long, I have seen the company grow and it is one of the most rewarding experiences ever. It has given me insight into, how a company works and how highly motivated individuals work together to achieve a common goal. I have enjoyed being part of discussions that are not associated with my expertise. Everyone's input is highly valued in any discussion. The company has fun activities like Bowling, Beer Pong, every month that help improve the team morale and also help blow off some steam.

If you want to work here, you have to be ready to give it your all. Hard work and dedication are the core values that this company is built on and if you want to work here, your work hours won't be from 9 to 5.

I am extremely happy to have had the opportunity to work at Party Earth when I lived in Los Angeles. I still hope that they decide to expand so I can work for them on the east coast.
My current job lacks the communal work ethic and vibe that Party Earth always had. The employees are hard workers, believe in the brand and strive for excellence. If you don't like
working - this is not your place. You will have fun, but you will work.
Party Earth stresses the importance of attention to detail which in turn allows you to learn a lot about yourself. You become more focused, take pride in your work, push yourself and learn the value of commitment and follow through.
I personally worked on the calendar team and was able to interact with a nice group of co-workers while learning about musicians, new bands, comedians and special events happening all over the world.
At Party Earth I was able to grow and learn from extremely intelligent supervisors. The CEO is hands on and cares for his employees. There are motivating contests, group outings (e.g. Dodger's games), BBQ's and often surprise lunches. I've rarely worked at a company where most birthday's are celebrated with cake etc.
I hope to someday have the chance to work with this company in the future. They are bound for success.
