The company also completely understanding when I had a family emergency and had to readjust my working hours, but I believe that was more the result of my direct superior looking out for me than the leadership above him. | It seemed like the company could never quite get past a lot of drama and dysfunction. Clients were often confused or dissatisfied, and several key team members spent a lot of time feuding. It's a shame, because some of the brightest people I have ever met were a part of this team, and it seems like the decisions that were being made at the top were always to the detriment of any kind of positive change within the team dynamics. This spilled out into the external space among our clients, which caused the company to lose accounts that should have been repeat business. I along with several FT team members were suddenly laid off when the company experienced serious cash flow constraints. Internal operations were always very disorganized as well. Many of us FT staff went without health insurance for several months and were constantly being told "it is coming soon." As well, they made a huge error with my tax reporting that was expensive to fix. I was also never reimbursed for the $1300+ in expenses that the company owes me. All my efforts to reconcile this have been met with silence.
