Work environment is good, people are friendly, free breakfast, fun office. Well... The pay is laughably low and the lack of structure is evident. Some people did next to nothing and are beloved while other people worked hard and weren't rewarded. It seems as though the CEO thought to himself. I'm going to start a company and just wing it. Sales is a joke, they want to grow, so they just hire people and start firing the low guy/girl on the todem pole, while constantly cutting territories. I started with 15 states and when I left I had 4 and there were 9 sales people. The product is good, but it's not what the focus of the company is, so there is really no update except content. The place was always very flexible and was willing to try new things and give people the ball and let them run with it. A lot of the Cons come out of the Pros. Shifts in direction come on a daily bases. The top level management is a joke. One side is stubborn and just a puppet for the other and the other side is complete and utter joke. The technology side is useless and basically slows down the entire office because he's a Lynch pin. Great office location, snacks (this may not be a thing anymore), fun employees, dog-friendly environment. Dogs in the office. Low level of micromanagement. Used to be a lot of fun. Company clearly running out of money so probably not a good place to get in at the moment. Opaque management style keeps employees from trusting senior managers or each other. Every project is hyped but we stop hearing about them afterwards. Lots of snacks in the cafe. Decent pay and all the benefits. Laid back culture with some cool company events. Turnover is high, and layoffs tend to come without warning and in groups.
