You get to work on a product that directly affects patient care. New office is great.

Outdated technology stack that management is reluctant to address. Some key managers have fragile egos that manifest in useless finger pointing and decisions made in a vacuum. Constant firefighting results in poor work/life balance.

The biggest thing for me is that the company cares about its employees. For the past few years, it has continued to eat up the costs to health insurance premiums so that employees won't have to pay more each year. They provide unlimited healthy snacks in a nice break room. They foster a friendly and collaborate work environment.

Because of the pace to keep up with demand and staying on top of tech, it creates a very fast paced and messy environment for deploying and maintaining the product. It can be stressful and difficult at times.
