private:paulcapital https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=263650 Feb 15th, 2013 12:00AM Open Open Paul Capital Partners Executive Assistant Kansas City, MO I loved my time here. Great place to work, competitive salary, excellent benefits and fair bosses. Great work/life balance, not expected to take work home with you or work on weekends (although it is appreciated when you do). Assistants are rewarded for hard work and treated very fairly. My personal experience with the team that I supported was phenomenal. I loved my investment professionals and they were like family. They treated me as an equal and involved me in their work as if I were a colleague and not just their Assistant. Taking time off was never an issue, unlike some companies I have worked for where vacation was something you accrued but didn't use (and if you did, you paid for it dearly upon return). It was the kind of job, in my personal experience, where you could do as much or as little outside the confines of your job description as you wanted. If you preferred to take on more responsibility, there were plenty of opportunities to do so. My team was always willing to share their knowledge and educate me on what we did as a company and how it related to the industry. They involved me in the deal process and I learned a tremendous amount while working here, which was very fulfilling for me personally. In my personal experience, there wasn't any downside to the job. It was sometimes difficult communicating with the other Assistants, either because they were located in different time zones and weren't available or because they were just slow to respond, but that can be said for any company. I found early on that once an opportunity presented itself where they needed my help and I was quick to make myself readily available to them, they in turn would reciprocate by responding in a more helpful and timely manner toward me. It required a lot of patience to build a great working relationship with them but it meant maintaining a cohesive and collaborative relationship going forward so it was worth the effort. Anytime you are part of an Administrative team that is spread out across different regions, you must be able to exercise patience, initiative and diligence. If you can do that, you will work well at this company. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 5.0 4.0 263650 Open I technically reported to the Office Manager, who is no longer with the company due to retirement. I couldn't offer any advice to the new Office Manager since I have not worked with them. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 2.0 Mar 30th, 2021 08:33PM Mar 30th, 2021 08:33PM Paul Capital Financial Services
