I've been with Pavecon for two years now. I stepped into the Project Manager role with limited experience, but the management team said when I was hired they would help me learn what I needed to know in order to be successful. I received 6 months of thorough, intentional coaching, and given many opportunities to run my own projects when I felt I was ready. Several years later because the construction industry can be challenging, I've continued to receive coaching and get questions answered as they come up. The production teams in the field are some of the best -- there have been instances where I made a mistake in estimating and they work hard to make up for it. This job isn't for the faint-hearted, the industry can be very difficult to work in so it's not infrequent to work 50 or 60 hr work weeks, but the leadership team also respects and encourages a healthy family life to offset work. Most of the work Pavecon does every year is from repeat customers, which speaks to the integrity and value of the work our crews do. And the compensation for the PM position is a base salary with full benefits, a truck stipend, 2 weeks vacation, and supplemental commissions on your projects. Combine that with a leadership team committed to investing in their project management team and doing whatever is necessary to help them be successful, which sets you up to succeed and invest in your projects, the foremen and crew, and grow your income in a stable, healthy way.

The relationship in between coworkers and drivers, supervisors,and mechanic technician .
