-Bi-weekly calls with vendors are key because we can bring both our clients' and our concerns as well as suggestions to the vendors regarding issues and implementation. I enjoy my job because I get to work on very challenging issues & collaborate with my team, but I also get to help advocate for our partners and end-users alike.
-The company is very picky about who they hire and it shows. You can teach people how to tech, but you cannot teach personality and empathy!
-I genuinely admire that the company has been proactive in breaking the toxic bro culture through action and community based activities instead of just lip service. I say this as someone who had previously worked at very toxic companies that allowed techbros to bully, dead name me, and make racist transphobic jokes. I would say I'm a fairly upfront person, if I witnessed unethical or toxic behavior, I'd call it out and I've never felt pressure to be silent (nor would I). I feel safe at Pax8 because I am surrounded by truly amazing and empathetic teammates. It's been a truly refreshing experience.
-Diversity & Inclusion Committee FTW! I hope post Covid-19 we can have in-person workshops and be involved in BIPOC/LGBTQIA Tech conferences.

Fast pace work isn't for everyone.
If you don't know how to prioritize or juggle multiple tasks, this place isn't for you.
Very upbeat and collaborative environment which isn't for those who prefer working alone.
If you don't like diversity and inclusivity, stay away!
