It's really just super. easy. work. Unless you're in customer support. Or possibly even sales. Supervisors are usually pretty cool and they are relaxed on policies
|
There is nowhere for you to move up. In Tech Support, there are promised raises which they won't follow through with. Customer support is a train wreck because everyone is loud behind you playing around and you are trying to talk to this old person on the phone. The calls aren't recorded either. Far too many times we jumped on their computer to fix it and the customer was watching porn because we didn't call ahead and warn them. They tell customers certain policies in which are not true in order to get a sale or to calm them down in Customer Support. It's really crazy.
Also beware: This place is a scam! They clean computers with free products available to the customer and then charge them because the customer is older and doesn't know about. The free products clearly state that it's not for commercial use, yet PcCareSupport uses it as such.

Coworkers are typically nice and fun to work with. Immediate management are nice and work hard to maintain morale. Pay is sufficient for amount of specialty required. Job is interesting enough to not get boring quickly. Company occasionally does fun activities to help morale.
|
Upper management are distant and rarely interact with the employees. The CEO, in particular, is an unknown entity to most employees except that he occasionally punches walls, slams doors, or imposes draconian, outdated policies that do not address the underlying issues affecting productivity/privacy. Management frequently fires people for unwarranted reasons. The computer hardware is surprisingly dated for a computer company--especially in regards to monitors.

Everyone is very laid back. They know when to be strict and when to have fun. Every single person is willing to help out if you have any questions. The supervisors and employers actually care about their employees and are willing to work with schedules.

There are some hard feelings towards different sections of the company. Not everyone is willing to take blame or fix their mistakes.
